This is a unique looking bike, vintage styling with some Italian flare! FB Mondial have a rich racing history and date back to the 1920’s. The current company owner is a descendent of the original founding family but also a real Italian count! This bike rides lovey and goes really well for a 125…but that’s no surprise seeing as it uses the same engine as the Aprilia RS 125, which everyone knows is a beast of a 125 engine! It puts out just under the legal limit of 15bhp as standard so goes really well compared to most 125’s on the market and are said to be able to exceed 80mph!
Classic vintage styling through and through, Italian tan leather, chrome mudguards, twin stainless exhausts mixed with a matt gunmetal tank and lower fender and subtle racing stripes and multi-spoke chrome wheels. The HPS is a looker which guarantees a head turn and a compliment along with a little confusion and surprise.
Why the confusion and surprise? Because to many not only does it look like it belongs in a different decade but it also looks like it’s the home to a much bigger engine.
The FB Mondial HPS 125 design is the perfect fusion of the classic F.B. Mondial Characteristics and furthermore the best technologic soul of 125cc DOHC, with electronic injection and liquid cooling system. The double rear shock absorbers and USD fork blends perfectly the past and the present, yet as a result of the adjustable suspensions technology combined they are able to grant the maximum comfort both driving in slow city traffic than in fast trip to the countryside. Most of all the attention to detail will enable you to enjoy the ride and the careful study for a correct riding position, will allow you to “live the dream”, riding a motorcycle with classic flavour and enjoying the security and the reliability given by the modern technology.
